Rent-to-Own Requirements

To qualify for our Rent-to-Own program, you must meet the following requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age.
Provide valid proof of insurance before taking possession of the vehicle and maintain active coverage throughout the entire Rent-to-Own agreement.
Your insurance policy must list Lone Star Loaners as the lienholder.
Pay the required security deposit before vehicle pickup. The security deposit is separate from your weekly or daily rental payments.
Remain current on all scheduled payments, tolls, parking tickets, traffic violations, and any other incidental charges. Failure to do so may place your Rent-to-Own agreement in default and could result in repossession or termination of the agreement.

How the Ownership Process Works

1. Be at least 18 years of age.
2. Take possession of your selected vehicle and begin making your scheduled payments.
3. Continue making all required payments throughout the full agreement term while remaining in compliance with the agreement.
4. Once the agreement has been completed successfully and all required payments have been made, Lone Star Loaners will release the vehicle title and transfer ownership to you.
5. After receiving the title, you are responsible for completing the title transfer through your local Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
